Freedom To Captives

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." (Isaiah 61:1)

About

Fabian and Carol Grech are the founders of Freedom To Captives. Fabian was raised in a Christian home in his birth-country Malta.  After pursuing a career in professional cooking, in 1998 the fire of God came to my life when I visited the Revival in Pensacola.  There I fell in love with Jesus and started my journey with Him.  Both Fabian and Carol graduated from the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in 2000. They live with a passion to see the body of Christ revived by coming to their first Love, experience the presence of God and have a burning heart to follow Jesus Christ. Fabian has preached the gospel in evangelistic crusades overseas, churches, Youth Gatherings, and equips believers for the work of the ministry.  For many years he has been involved in making disciples in class room settings at schools of ministry, healing rooms, discipleship/ rehab centers, and hands on training in over 20 countries.  Fabian and Carol have a passion to finish the task of reaching...

Generals of the Faith

...and their legacy of godly wisdom

“Some men’s ambition is art. Some men’s ambition is fame. Some men’s ambition is gold. My ambition is the souls of men.”

William Booth

“There are no closed doors to the gospel, provided that, once you go through the door, you don’t care whether or not you come back out.  Our Lord said go! He said nothing about coming back.”

Brother Andrew

“Any church that is not seriously involved in helping fulfill the Great Commission has forfeited its biblical right to exist.”

Oswald J. Smith

“Sin is the most expensive thing in the universe.”

Charles Finney

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace…It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”

St. Francis of Assisi

“If a commission by an earthly king is considered a honor, how can a commission by a Heavenly King be considered a sacrifice?”

David Livingstone

“When I saw for the first time by the Word of God that sickness was not the Will of God, everything in my nature rose up to defeat the will of the devil.”

John G. Lake

“God, I pray, light these idle sticks of my life and may I burn up for Thee. Consume my life, my God, for it is Thine. I seek not a long life but a full one like Yours, Lord Jesus.”

Jim Elliot

“Some people pray just to pray and some people pray to know God.  Some read the Bible to learn and some read the Bible to hear from heaven.”

Andrew Murray

“I have but one passion: It is He, it is He alone. The world is the field and the field is the world; and henceforth that country shall be my home where I can be most used in winning souls for Christ.”
